1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
1 (No. 2) can favorite pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Spray 9x13 inch baking dish with Pam. Spread undrained pineapple in dish. Spread pie filling over pineapple. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over mixture. Spread thinly sliced butter over cake mix; top with chopped nuts. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Cool in pan if serving cold. Serve with whipped topping.
