DUMP CAKE 
1 can crushed pineapple
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 sticks butter

Don't get in the "dumps" when you make this beauty. This is another cobbler; the taste is similar to a Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

Utensils: Dutch Oven; alternate for cooking in an oven is a 9 x 13 pan.

Fireman: Prepare charcoal for Dutch oven baking. Alternate: preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cook: 1. Preheat Dutch oven. Rub Dutch oven with cooking oil. 2. Dump crushed pineapple with juice into the Dutch oven. Spread evenly. 3. Dump cherry pie filling over pineapple. Spread evenly. 4. Dump cake mix (dry) over pie filling. Spread evenly. 5. Slice butter into pats (chunks) and place over cake mix. Lay them evenly. 6. Bake one hour or until knife comes out clean.
