DATE-NUT BARS 
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. pastry flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs until very light. Continue beating, add sugar gradually. Fold in flour, baking powder and salt. Add other ingredients.

Bake in greased shallow pan (9x9) in 350°F oven for 30 - 40 minutes. Cut in bars and roll in powdered sugar.
