BAKED APPLE SLICES | |
2 lb. tart apples 1/3 c. raisins 1/3 c. brown sugar 1 c. warm water 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/3 tsp. cinnamon Cut apples in quarters; peel, core, and slice them. Place apples in 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with a few raisins in between. Dissolve brown sugar in small amount of warm water; add remaining water and spices. Pour liquid over apple slices. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. 8 servings. 1 serving equals 106 calories or 2 1/2 fruit exchanges. |
