DATE NUT BALLS 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, cut up
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar

Cook together until butter melts and mixture boils. Cook 4 or 5 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add: 1/2 c. coconut 1 c. nuts

Cool (but not too cool). Add 2 cups Rice Krispies and form into balls and roll in powdered sugar. Store in air-tight container.
