DATE-NUT BALLS 
1/2 lb. chopped pitted dates
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
3 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Coconut

Mix first 4 ingredients. Cook for 6 minutes, then pour over the Rice Krispies and nuts. Shape into balls and roll in coconut.
