HOT FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 can pineapple chunks
1 can peach halves
1 can pear halves
1 can apricot halves
1 jar maraschino cherries

ORANGE SAUCE:

1/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. orange rind

Drain fruit; arrange in 9"x13"x2" baking dish with cherries in hollows. To make sauce, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, corn syrup, orange juice and rind in pan; heat to a boil. Remove; pour sauce over fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
