BACON WRAPPED WATER CHESTNUTS 
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained 7 cut in half
1/4 c. soy sauce
6 slices bacon, cut in half

Power: High. Microwave Time: 6 to 7 minutes. Marinate water chestnuts in soy sauce 30 minutes. Place bacon on paper towels. Cover with paper towels. Microwave at High 3 minutes. Wrap each water chestnut with strip of bacon; secure with toothpick. Place on plate lined with paper towels. Microwave at High 3 to 4 minutes until bacon is crisp. Yield: 12 water chestnuts.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
