PIZZA CASSEROLE | |
7 oz. pkg. macaroni 1 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion, finely chopped 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 c. milk 1 egg 1/4 to 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated or thin sliced Prepare noodles according to package directions. Drain. Brown ground beef and onion. Drain off excess fat. Add tomato sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and seasonings. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Beat milk, egg and 1/2 teaspoon salt together. Blend into noodles and spread in a greased pan. Cover with meat mixture. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before cutting. |
