PEACH KUCHEN 
3 c. flour
1/3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
12 peach halves or an equal amount of sliced peaches, canned
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. heavy or sour cream

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and 2 tablespoons sugar. Work butter in with fingers until like coarse meal. Pile into a 9 x 13 inch pan and press an even layer over bottom and half way up sides of pan. Place peaches on pastry and sprinkle with remaining sugar and cinnamon. Bake 15 minutes. Beat egg yolks and cream together with fork. Pour over kuchen and bake 30 minutes longer. You may use fresh or frozen peaches also but will need an additional 1/2 cup of sugar.
