PEACH KUCHEN 
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
12 peach halves
1 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 egg yolks
1 cup heavy cream

Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. With a pastry blender, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Press the flour mixture over the bottom and up the sides of a buttered 10-inch round pan. Places the peaches, cut side up, over the pastry. Combine the brown sugar sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over peach halves.

Bake for 15 minutes at 400°F.

Mix the egg yolks and cream. Pour over the peaches and continue to bake for 30 minutes or until brown. Serve warm or cool.
