KORENDER KAGER 
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. butter
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 c. currants
2 tbsp. sugar, for top

Cream together the butter and sugar. Add flour in fourths, blending well after each addition. Spread batter in a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan, spreading with hands. Sprinkle the currants and remaining 2 tablespoons sugar on top of batter. Press raisins or currants into dough, slightly, before sprinkling with sugar. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Cut into 1 inch squares.
