PEACH PRESERVES 
9 c. peaches, thinly sliced
1/2 c. orange juice
Rind of orange, thinly sliced
20 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
7 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. whole cloves in cheesecloth

Bring first four ingredients to boil. Add remainder of ingredients. Stir and cook until thick, about 1 hour. Seal in jars. Makes 8 1/2 pints.
