SOUTHERN PECAN PIE | |
1 (9-inch) pastry shell 1 c. broken pecan meats 3 eggs 1/3 c. sugar 1 c. white corn syrup 1/8 tsp. salt 1/4 c. melted butter Line pastry shell with pecans. Beat eggs well. Add corn syrup, sugar, salt and butter. Mix well and turn into crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 40 minutes longer. Cool on rack. Serve cold. |
