SPICY SWEET POTATOES 
4 c. mashed sweet potatoes, 4 med.
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. cream or evaporated milk
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. mincemeat

In medium saucepan, cook sweet potatoes 1/2 hour or until tender. Cool, peel, and mash in electric mixer or by hand with potato masher. Put 1/2 the sweet potatoes into a 1 1/2 quart buttered casserole. Spread with mincemeat and top with remaining half of potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Garnish with whipped pecans, grated orange and lemon peel. Makes 8 servings.
