1 tsp. salt
1 onion
2 tbsp. tarragon vinegar
1 pt. sour cream
2 cucumbers
1/2 tsp. pepper

Slice the cucumbers as well as the onion, sprinkle with salt. Let stand a half hour, place in cheese cloth and squeeze out water. Place the cucumber mixture in dish, add the vinegar and mix. Pour the sour cream over it and sprinkle with pepper.
