2 c. baking soda
1 1/4 c. cold water
1 c. cornstarch

Combine cornstarch and soda, mixing well. Stir in cold water mixing until smooth.

Boil for 1 minute until mixture resembles mashed potatoes. Stir constantly. Spoon onto a silicone baking sheet.

Cover with plastic wrap and allow to cool. Knead the dough until smooth, then roll out.

Use cookie cutters to cut shapes or mold into any desired shape.

Air dry until hardened, about 1 to 2 days. Paint ornaments with Tempra or acrylic paint.

Dry and spray with clear coat polyurethane or acrylic based gloss finish. Press wire hanger into back before dough dries.
