REFRIGERATOR ROLLS (POLISH
RECIPE)
 
1 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening or butter
3 c. flour
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
3/4 tsp. salt

Melt shortening in 1/2 cup of the milk. Add sugar and salt; add remaining milk and cool until lukewarm. Add yeast and beaten egg. Stir well. Work flour in 1 cup at a time. Let rise 1 hour. Store in refrigerator 3 hours or overnight. Divide into rolls and bake at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
