FRESH PEAR CAKE 
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. salad oil
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. thinly sliced pears

Combine sugar, eggs and oil, beat well. Combine flour, soda and salt; add to sugar mixture 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla, cinnamon and pears.

Spoon batter into a well greased 10 inch bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Allow to cool and remove from pan.
