CINNAMON KNOTS 
1 loaf frozen sweet roll dough
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Divide thawed dough into 12 pieces. Shape each dough piece into a 7 or 8-inch rope. Tie each rope into a knot. Combine sugar and cinnamon; dip each knot into melted butter, then coat with cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Evenly space 12 knots on greased cookie sheet. Let rise in warm place until double in size, 30-60 minutes. Bake at 325-350 degrees for 15- 20 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets immediately. Drizzle with icing.

ICING:

1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. softened butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
2-3 tsp. milk

Mix until smooth.
