SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS | |
2 lb. Italian sausage, sliced 1 lg. onion, finely chopped 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped 3 lg. red peppers, cut in strips 6 lg. green peppers, cut in strips 2 tsp. oregano In large frying pan brown cut up sausage. Add onion, garlic and oregano. Cook until tender. Add sliced peppers. Stir. Cover and cook for 1/2 hour. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve either on or with fresh Italian bread. |
