BEEF PORCUPINES 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. raw rice, washed
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. Wesson or vegetable oil
2 oz. can tomato sauce
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. pepper

Jiffy Porcupines: Use 2/3 cup pre-cooked rice.

Mix beef, rice, onion and seasoning. Form into small balls. Cook in hot Wesson oil in skillet, turning frequently until light brown, but not crusty on all sides. Add Hunt's sauce and water. Mix well. Cover and simmer about 1 1/2 hours. 4 servings.
