BUTTERSCOTCH-PEANUT BARS 
3 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar

Combine as for pie crust and pat into jelly roll pan. Bake 375 degrees for 10 minutes.

Combine in double boiler:

2 pkgs. butterscotch chips (6 oz.)
3 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup

Add 2 1/2 cups salted Spanish peanuts. Mix well and spread over crust. Bake 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool. Cut into bars.
