1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 c. soft bread crumbs
3 to 4 tbsp. Heinz 57 Sauce
Dash of pepper
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt

Combine ingredients thoroughly. Shape into a loaf (8 x 4 x 1 1/2 inch) in a shallow baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Let meat loaf stand 5 minutes before slicing. Makes 6 servings.
