RICE & PORK CHOPS | |
4 or 5 pork chops 1 1/2 c. rice (whole grain) 1 med. onion 2 med. tomatoes (ripe) Brown pork chops in bacon drippings then pout on whole grain rice. Slice onion in round pieces on top of rice. Then slice tomatoes on top of onions. Salt and pepper. Pour water to cover all. Use heavy black skillet. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and cook for about 25 minutes or until water is absorbed. |
