PUMPKIN PIE CAKE 
1 lb. 3 oz. can pumpkin
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
3 beaten eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 Duncan Hines regular yellow cake mix
1 stick (1/2 c.) butter
Cool whip

Beat first 6 ingredients together and pour into 9"x13" baking pan. Sprinkle 1/2 package of the cake mix (2 cups) over the pumpkin mix. Melt 1 stick of butter and pour evenly over top of cake mix. Sprinkle 1 cup chopped nuts over top of cake and butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes until knife comes out clean. Serve with whipped cream.
