STRING BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 (#2) cans drained string beans (reserve liquid)
1 c. bean liquid
1/4 c. butter
1 onion, chopped
1 c. milk
1 c. cheese, chopped
4 tbsp. flour

Melt butter, add onion and saute. Add flour and make smooth roux, add milk, bean juice and cheese. Pour beans in casserole, pour sauce over beans. Break bread into small pieces. Arrange over top and bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 6-8.
