“CROCKPOT MACARONI AND CHEESE” IS IN:

CROCKPOT MACARONI AND CHEESE 
WHITE SAUCE:

2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. milk
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese for sauce
Additional Cheddar cheese for macaroni

Combine flour, salt, dry mustard, pepper and milk. Microwave on High setting until it begins to thicken (watch carefully - if you overheat this the milk will curdle!.

Stir in butter and 2 cups Cheddar cheese, stirring until cheese melts.

In a saucepan, cook (1 lb.) box of macaroni until done al dente (firm) according to package directions, but 2-3 minutes less; drain in colander. Turn Crockpot to High setting.

Butter the sides and bottom of pot. Place a layer of macaroni and layer of extra cheese until all macaroni of the macaroni has been used.

Cook on High setting for about 30 minutes.

Turn to Low setting and cook for 2 hours.

Sprinkle top with paprika.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
