FRIED ARTICHOKES 
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. Bisquick
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. parsley
1/4 c. finely chopped onions
1 pkg. "cara mia" frozen artichoke hearts

Thaw and drain on paper towel; blot until towel comes up dry or fried artichoke will be soggy. May be quartered or halved lengthwise.

Make batter with milk, eggs and all other ingredients except parsley and onions. Mix well; fold in parsley and onions. Dip artichoke pieces in batter and deep fry at 350 degrees (electric frying pay shows great results).
