BARBECUED PORK ON BUNS | |
1/4 c. chopped green pepper 2 tbsp. chopped onion 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 2 c. diced or chopped leftover pork 2/3 c. catsup 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 3 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. Worcestershire 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 c. water 6 sandwich buns Saute green pepper and onion in the oil about 2 minutes. Add pork, catsup, mustard, sugar, Worcestershire, salt and water. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes or until thick. Serve on buns. Note: Pork can be heated in bottled barbecue sauce. My Note: I serve on pasta (egg noodles, rotini, shells). |
