WHEAT GERM BUTTERMILK PANCAKES 
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. wheat germ
2 lg. eggs, separated
2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 to 2 tbsp. melted butter

Stir the dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Beat the egg yolks with 1/2 cup buttermilk. Then add the remaining buttermilk and butter. Stir into the dry ingredients. Fold in the egg whites, beaten to soft peaks. Fry on a greased griddle, turning once.
