BUTTERED BROWNED POTATOES 
3 lg. baking potatoes
1/2 c. butter, melted
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Peel baking potatoes; cut each into 6 slices, dry. Coat in 1/4 cup melted butter in a 2-quart baking dish. Add salt and pepper. Bake covered in a single layer 20 minutes. Uncover, baste with other 1/4 cup butter and bake 30 minutes.
