BASIC MEAT BALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. dry bread or cracker crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. oil
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 egg

In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except oil; mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls. In large skillet, brown meatballs. Cook. Makes 4 servings.
