WALNUT BROCCOLI 
3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
1 1/4 c. butter, divided use
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
2/3 c. water
1 1/2 tbsp. chicken stock base (water can be substituted)
2/3 (8 oz.) pkg. herb stuffing mix
2/3 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Cook broccoli until tender. Drain and put in a 2 quart greased casserole. In a 2 quart saucepan melt 1/2 cup butter. Blend in flour and chicken stock base. Stir to make a smooth paste. Gradually add milk. Cook until smooth and thick (over medium heat) about 10 minutes. Pour sauce over broccoli. Heat 2/3 cup water and 6 tablespoons butter until melted. Pour stuffing mix into a bowl. Mix with butter mixture. Add nuts. Top broccoli with stuffing mixture. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 8.
