I have made this recipe SOOOO much and it is awesome. My hubs and I like to add a little onion to ours, sometimes a little green pepper. Oh and he prefers I use ranch dressing, so I find myself making two batches so I can have my blue cheese fix! Thanks for sharing this awesome and easy recipe. ALWAYS a hit at potlucks--never any left!

I LOVE this recipe, but I have one of my own as well, but I think I might try this with the bleu cheese, I usually use ranch dressing, only because not everyone likes bleu cheese, and I too use boneless chicken breast, but going to try the canned, I really dread shredding the chicken breast. Thanks for sharing.

I make this dish all the time now. I add chopped green onion for a little crunch and color. I always shred the chicken and use blue cheese dressing.

Love this recipe -- I just use Frank's Red Hot Original sauce (cayenne pepper sauce) to give it a little more kick! Great recipe for football parties and very easy to make!

This was so quick and easy to make! Instead of cooking it in a pan i heated the cream cheese in the microwave for 1 1/2 min. and then added everything and heated for 30 sec. And it worked out great and tasted delicious! Thanks!

I love this... and try to make it 'healthier' by quickly cooking chopped onion, celery, even some diced water chestnuts to add some veggies and crunch, before melting in the cream cheese. I have substituted low fat cream cheese and ranch dressing with luck.

This is the best recipe I have found yet! I much prefer melting the cream cheese with the Blue Cheese Dressing. I also used fresh chicken breast and shredded it instead of canned and I used mozzarella cheese instead of Monterey Jack. Being from Buffalo, I used Frank's Hot Sauce with a few dashes of Tabasco and just added some crumbly blue cheese on top for decoration. There was not a bite to be had at the end of the night! Not at all greasy like other recipes I've tried.

 Mike (New York) replies:
Amy is right on... Frank's hot sauce is hands down the best hot sauce ever!! If you haven't tried it, find it, order it, do what ever you need to, just try it.

 Robert (North Carolina) replies:
Agree with Amy - Best recipe for this dip, I also used fresh Chicken (boiled and shredded). Then mixed the shredded chicken, cream cheese, and a little garlic powder, then smoothed this out in pyrex baking dish, spooned over the Bleu cheese dressing, sprinkled on (a lot of) Texas Pete's Hot sauce (sorry, I am in NC and YES Texas Pete's is made here). Topped with Mozzarella and baked 25 minutes.

I have made this recipe many times, and use low fat blue cheese drssing and low fat cream cheese. I also use Kroger's hot wing sauce "Medium" heat instead of the hot sauce. It is very tasty and an often-requested dish.

This dip is delicious! The changes I made were shredding chicken breast instead of canned, real blue cheese crumbles instead of dressing, and tiny pieces of celery baked in with the dip. Not healthy lol but ohh soo good!
