2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped marshmallows
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. cola drink
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, beaten

Combine flour and sugar and stir in marshmallows; set aside. In a saucepan, put the shortening, butter, cocoa, and cola. Bring to a boil and heat just until shortening and butter melts. Remove from heat and pour over flour mixture. Stir in buttermilk, soda and eggs. Pour into a greased tube pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and cool in pan. Cake may crumble slightly. Cake may be baked in a 9-inch square layer pan or a loaf pan, but it will take slightly longer to bake. NOTE: Do not beat the mixture.
