| DEEP BUTTER COFFEE CAKE | |

1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1 stick butter 1 egg Mix together as you would pie dough with a fork. After thoroughly mixed, pat down in 13 x 9 inch greased pan. Push the dough up somewhat at the sides so that topping does not flow down into bottom of pan. Mix together 1 (8 ounce) package of Philadelphia cream cheese, 2 eggs and 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar and pour over top of above mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. Top with powdered sugar and nuts if desired. | |

Deep Butter Coffee Cake... what can I say? Well I have to tell you that this was a huge hit when we had family over. The ten year old boy wanted the recipe and the niece (R.N) wanted to eat it all! We are going to make this for every event... in fact, I am making two for the labor day (2013) weekend. Lots of people will really enjoy this delicious coffee cake this weekend and the years to come.
