LEMON CAKE | |
1 pkg. cake mix (yellow Duncan Hines) 1 pkg. Jello instant pudding (lemon) 4 whole eggs 3/4 c. water 3/4 c. Mazola corn oil Grated rind of 1 lemon ICING: 2 1/4 c. powdered sugar Juice of 3 lemons Grated rind of 1 1/2 lemons Mix first three ingredients, then last three, then beat at high speed 10 minutes. Bake at 325 degrees 1 hour or less in stem pan (greased and floured). Mix the icing. Put over cake while still warm. Stick cake with toothpicks so icing will run through. |
