CREAM OF POTATO SOUP 
5 or 6 lg. potatoes, diced
1 lg. onion, diced
3 stalks celery, diced
1 tsp. salt
2 carrots, diced

Cook in enough water to cover potatoes. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add: 1 qt. milk

Bring to a boil. Mix flour or cornstarch with milk to make a thickening. Stir into the boiling vegetables until slightly thickened. P.S. You may need to add more salt and pepper to taste.
