BRAISED VENISON 
2 lb. venison stew meat
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
6 oz. wine

Sauté onion and celery. Add stew meat and brown. Add garlic powder and black pepper. Bring to a boil. Add wine. Turn to simmer. Cook 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
