HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef or chuck
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 lb. can green beans, drained
10 3/4 oz. can condensed tomato soup
5 med. potatoes, cooked
1/2 c. warm milk
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. shredded American cheese

In large skillet, cook meat and onions until meat is lightly browned and onion is tender. Add salt and pepper. Add drained beans and soup. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Mash potatoes while hot. Add milk and egg to potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Smooth over casserole and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Serves 4-6.
