TEXAS CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs

Sift flour and sugar together. Beat eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla in separate container. In separate boiler, heat butter, cocoa and water to a boil. Add baking soda and remove from heat. Mix all ingredients and pour into a 9x13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
6 tbsp. dripped coffee
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar

Bring butter, coffee and cocoa to a boil. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Pour over warm cake.
