TEXAS HOT CHOCOLATE CAKE | |
2 c. flour 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. vegetable oil 1 cube butter 1 c. water 3 tsp. cocoa 1/2 c. buttermilk 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together flour, sugar and baking soda in a large mixing bowl. In a pan, put the vegetable oil, butter, water and cocoa. Cook until butter melts. Pour into flour mixture and stir until mixed. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Stir until mixed. Pour into a greased 15 x 10 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool thoroughly before frosting. FROSTING 1 cube butter 5 tbsp. cream 1 box powdered sugar 4 tbsp. cocoa 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla |
