OATMEAL, PEANUT BUTTER, RAISIN
COOKIES
 
1 c. butter, softened
1 (18 oz.) jar chunky peanut butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
4 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
6 c. quick-cooking oats, uncooked
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins

Beat butter and peanut butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Gradually add sugars, beating well. Add eggs and vanilla mixing well.

Combine oats and baking soda; add to butter mixture, mixing well. Stir in raisins. Drop by tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 350°F for 9 to 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.

Makes 3 dozen.
