TASTE OF COFFEE SQUARES 
1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. hot coffee
1/4 c. raisins or nuts

GLAZE:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. soft butter
Water or milk

Cream butter and sugar, beat in egg. Add dry ingredients and coffee. Mix well. Spread in a 15x10x1 inch pan, ungreased. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

GLAZE: Mix butter and sugar together with enough milk or water to make the mixture thin. Spread on cake while hot. Cool, cut into squares.
