1 1/4 c. oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped fresh apples
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Blend oil and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, apples and nuts. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg and blend in. The batter will be very stiff. Grease and flour 9"x12" cake pan. Makes a very large cake. Bake in 375 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
