OLD FASHIONED POTATO SOUP 
4 med. potatoes, diced
1/2 c. celery, diced
1 lg. onion, diced
2 1/4 c. water

Cover and simmer 45 minutes until done. Rice vegetables or put through a coarse sieve (don't mash). Return to cooking water. Add:

3 c. milk
2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Reheat. Cook 8 slices of crisp bacon; dice. At serving time put 2 to 3 drops of Tabasco sauce into soup and serve each dish topped with the diced bacon and chopped parsley.
