APPLE PUDDING WITH CRUMB TOPPING 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 (#2 size) can sliced apples or 1 (#2 size) can applesauce

Blend the brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and butter with a fork or pastry blender until butter is the size of peas. Set aside. Turn the sliced apples or apple sauce into a 9 inch pie pan. Sprinkle with sugar mixture. Bake in moderately hot oven (400 degrees) 45 minutes if sliced apples are used and 20 minutes if applesauce is used. Serve plain or top with milk or ice cream. Makes 6 servings.
