NEVER FAIL EGG CUSTARD PIE 
6 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 c. milk
Pinch salt
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
Sprinkle nutmeg, if desired

Combine all the above except nutmeg in blender or mixer. Beat at high speed until mix is frothy on top (about 4 minutes). Pour into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle top with nutmeg. Bake at 450 degrees for 8 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes.

Next time I'll use half the sugar - it was insanely sweet. I'll also use ramekins or mini pie tins instead of a single full-sized pie pan.

Other than that, it was good, firmed up nicely.
