2 sticks butter 5 c. sugar 4-5 tbsp. cocoa 13 oz. can evaporated milk 12 oz. chocolate chips 7 1/2 oz. marshmallow creme 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. chopped nuts Melt butter; add sugar, cocoa and evaporated milk. Stir until above reaches a rolling boil. Start timing from a good rolling boil 8-10 minutes, no more! Remove from stove immediately; add chocolate chips to melt. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla. Beat 1 minute (on medium speed of mixer); stir in nuts and pour into buttered container. Score while hot and refrigerate. (I use a cookie sheet with sides for my container.) |
